Wisdom monkeys, See nothing, Hear nothing, Say nothing

In Japanese mythology, these three monkeys play a special role.
They embody a Buddhist way of life: See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil.
The sculptures of the three monkeys, one covering his ears, the other his eyes and the last one his mouth (Minai, Kikanai and Iwanai), are also well known as a good luck charm.
As the figurines are made and dyed by hand, there may be slight variations in colour and surface structure.
